The 47th International Liver Congress™ will take place in Spain from April 18 – 22, 2012 at the Centre Convencions Internacional (CCIB) in Barcelona.
The Convention Centre, designed by prestigious Spanish architect José Luis Mateo, forms part of the new technological and business district in one of the city's best developed urban areas, with a communications and transport network connecting it to the dynamic city of Barcelona. Modern installations and architectural beauty make CCIB truly unique as one of the largest convention centres in Southern Europe.
Barcelona is not only internationally renowned for its food, culture and hospitality, but is also home to some of the most eminent hepatologists in Europe. Hence, we welcome you to join us in Spain for the most important event in the European Hepatology calendar.
The Governing Board of EASL is delighted to host the International Association for Study of the Liver during this International Liver Congress. This will give our meeting a truly global perspective and provide an opportunity for clinicians and researchers from developing countries to present their research and interact with EASL members. There will also be an excellent opportunity for EASL members to get up-to-date with the diagnosis and management of tropical liver diseases at the joint EASL-IASL postgraduate course.
